Dr. Sarah Evans joined Imperial Animal Hospital in May of 2015. She was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and went on to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Evans moved to Missouri to attend University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine and recently earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. She graduated as a member of Phi Zeta, the honor society of veterinary medicine that recognizes the top 25% of the senior class. Throughout the first two years of veterinary school, Dr. Evans gained additional experience by working in the Intensive Care Unit at the college’s veterinary hospital. Dr. Evans was a member of the Veterinary Business Management Association and through this organization, completed a nationally recognized business certification program. She is now a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Evans' areas of special interest include internal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Evans currently lives in Soulard and enjoys spending quality time with her boyfriend, Sean, and their two dogs, Bella (Maltipoo) and Maverick (Siberian Husky). Dr. Evans and Sean met and started dating during their initial years at Ohio State University. While in Missouri they have especially enjoyed embracing the beautiful nature scenes and great hiking opportunities. They also never pass up a chance to go explore new places and things to do! Dr. Evans and Sean are fortunate in that they are very close with their families, both back in the state of Ohio, and visit with them often.
