Dr. Biermann was born and raised in South St. Louis attending Oakville High School. She volunteered at animal shelters throughout the St. Louis area and participated in Oakville Tiger softball and marching band. In any of her spare time, she worked at Frankie G's Bar and Grill smiling and serving people. It was during this time that she decided to be a veterinarian.
Dr. Biermann moved from being an Oakville Tiger to a Mizzou Tiger. She attended the University of Missouri- Columbia participating in Marching Mizzou, Pre-Vet Club, and was president of Make-a-Wish Foundation, Mizzou Branch. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mizzou. From this point, she concentrated on her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2021. She graduated with an academic honor of distinction of Magna Cum Laude, Adele M. Buescher Scholarship, and Abby Magnolia Scholarship. Her passion is in the unique human-animal bond. While Dr. Biermann prefers being a small animal general practitioner, she also enjoys behavioral medicine, shelter medicine, and swine medicine.
Dr. Biermann is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Missouri Veterinary Medicinal Association. During her spare time, Dr. Biermann enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, and biking. She is also a proud dog mom to her Labrador Retriever mix, Myles, who she adopted from CARE STL during veterinary school.
